# Google Cloud product artwork

Official SVG artwork copied **without modification** from Google's icon library.
The original eight core assets were first retrieved on 2026-10-28; the collection
was verified and expanded on 2026-10-29 and 2026-10-30. All 39 assets have an original
`viewBox="0 0 512 512"`. Filenames are local aliases; SVG bytes are unchanged.

## Sources and icon system

- Official library: https://cloud.google.com/icons
- Product icon guidance: https://services.google.com/fh/files/misc/google-cloud-product-icons.pdf
- Core archive: https://services.google.com/fh/files/misc/core-products-icons.zip
- Category archive: https://services.google.com/fh/files/misc/category-icons.zip

Google's current system uses a unique mark for core products and a shared
category mark for other products. A shared icon is intentional: e.g. Cloud DNS,
Cloud Load Balancing and VPC use Networking, while Firestore and Memorystore use
Databases. The adjacent product label identifies the service. Cloud Run functions
uses the Serverless Computing category (listed as Cloud Functions in the guide).
The existing Vertex AI core SVG is retained from the official core archive.
No legacy console artwork is mixed into this set. The current catalog covers all 177 entries in the official product index snapshot plus retained services and architecture resources (205 entries total). Core marks are used when available; general products share the appropriate official category mark, distinguished by their labels.

`sources.json` records each local filename, exact archive member, source URL,
SHA-256 digest and verified viewBox. `serviceCatalog.ts` maps services to these
assets. Frames, container labels and connections are rendered separately.
Project, VPC and Subnet boundaries are generic labelled containers; they do not
borrow AWS marks or imply AWS placement rules. Typed boundary presets retain a provider-specific
identifier as presentation metadata; only the GKE cluster boundary reuses the
existing GKE product icon. Boundary colors and line styles are platform conventions.

## Rights and attribution

Google Cloud product names and marks belong to Google LLC. These assets are
third-party Google artwork supplied for architecture diagrams and technical
documentation; they are **not** Agent Zoo originals and are **not covered by the
mascot MIT license or relicensed here**. The downloaded archives do not include
a separate open-source license grant. Follow the official library guidance,
[Google Brand Resource Center](https://about.google/brand-resource-center/)
and [Google's terms](https://policies.google.com/terms) for reuse.

## Catalog reference

Product names and documentation links are referenced from https://docs.cloud.google.com/docs/product-list (snapshot 2026-10-30); Google documents that page under CC BY 4.0. The local productIndex.json records each observed product and its stable service ID. Additional drawing resources link to their own official documentation in services.json, including selected Firebase services. Index coverage is bounded to this snapshot, not a promise to include every console feature or future product.
